Ski Mountaineering

Our Ski Mountaineering team is for athletes ages 12-18.

The team provides a way for young athletes to experience ski mountaineering and Skimo racing, while learning important safety skills and how to travel efficiently in the mountains. Most importantly this group is about human-powered fun!

Saturdays
9 am to 12 pm

Program Dates:
January 3, 10, 17 & 31
February 7, 14, 21 & 28

Cost:
$400 per participant

All participants should be comfortable skiing black runs in all conditions.
For those new to the sport of Skimo we focus on technique and establishing endurance.
For those interested in the competitive racing aspect of Skimo, we will provide specific race training focused on endurance, race preparation, and fueling for this demanding sport.
